Bien que Nora Babin, est décédée d’un cancer, le vendredi 5 décembre 2025, à la maison Albert de Moncton, à l’âge de 71ans, son âme continuera à vivre grâce a sa famille qui l’aimait beaucoup. Elle était l’épouse de Lionel Babin depuis 50 ans. Née au Fond de la Baie, Saint-Edouard-de-Kent, le 4 juin 1954, elle était la fille de feu Gérard LeBlanc et de feu Lucina Breau.
Outre son époux, elle laisse dans le deuil ses trois fils : Stefane Babin (Cécile) de Saint-Grégoire, Pierre Babin de Moncton et Michel Babin (Amber) d’Edmonton Alberta; ses cinq frères : André, Donald, Alonzo, Joe et Gilles; ses deux sœurs : Diane et Anne; ses neuf petits-enfants : Rebecca, Sophie, Arielle, Cynthia, Emilie, Samuel, Annie, Zackary et Wyatt; ses deux arrière-petits-enfants : Hudson et Haven, ainsi que plusieurs neveux, nièces, cousins, cousines et amis.
Elle a été précédée dans la tombe par ses parents; son frère, Claude; ses deux sœurs : Jeanne et Bertha, ainsi qu’un petit-enfant, Zander.
Nora a vécu une vie très simple. Elle aimait passer du temps avec sa famille et aimait regarder ses émissions préférées : Séraphin, « the Match Game » et « The Price is Right ».
La famille exprime sa sincère gratitude à notre héro le Dr. Amel Fekhar et au personnel de l’hospice Maison Albert pour le dévouement et leur gentillesse.
La famille recevra parents et amis à compter de 9h, le mercredi 17 décembre 2025, au 23, rue Grâce, Shediac Cape. Les funérailles seront célébrées a l’église Centre Nouvelle Vie de Shediac, le même jour à 11h.
Heures de visites : le mercredi 17 décembre de 9h jusqu’au funérailles.
Au lieu des fleurs, des dons peuvent être faits à la famille Babin.
La direction des funérailles a été confiée aux soins professionnels de la Coopérative Funéraire « La Colombe » Ltée.

Although Nora Babin, passed away from Cancer, on Friday December 5, 2025, at the Albert House in Moncton at the age of 71 years old, her soul will continue living on through her adoring family. She was the wife of Lionel Babin for the past 50 years. Born in Fond d’la Baie, Saint-Edouard-de-Kent, on June 4, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Gérard LeBlanc and of the late Lucina Breau.
Besides her husband, she leaves to mourn her three sons: Stefane Babin (Cécile) from Saint-Grégoire, Pierre Babin from Moncton and Michel Babin (Amber) from Edmonton Alberta; her five brothers: André, Donald, Alonzo, Joe and Gilles; her two sisters: Diane and Anne; her nine grandchildren: Rebecca, Sophie, Arielle, Cynthia, Emilie, Samuel, Annie, Zachary and Wyatt; her two great grandchildren: Hudson and Haven, as well as several nephew, nieces, cousins and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents, her brother, Claude; her two sisters: Jeanne and Bertha, as well as a grandchild, Zander.
Nora lived a simple life. She enjoyed spending time with her family and loved watching her favorite shows: Séraphin, The Match Game and The Price is Right.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Dr Armel Fekhar and to the staff at the Hospice Albert House for their dedication and kindness.
The family will receive relatives and friends beginning at 9 am, on Wednesday December 17th, 2025, at 23, Grace Street, in Shediac Cape. The funeral will be celebrated at the Centre Nouvelle Vie in Shediac, on the same day at 11 am.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Babin family.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the professional care of the La Colombe Funeral Cooperative Ltd. of Tracadie.
