Jeannissa (Jeanne) Basque-Baldwin est née à Grande-Anse, au N.-B., le 22 juin 1936. Elle était la fille de feu Edmond Basque de Tracadie-Sheila et de feu Marie-Anne Roussel de Shippagan, ainsi que l’épouse de feu Wallace Baldwin, décédé en 2000.

Jeanne restera à jamais dans nos cœurs. Elle laisse dans le deuil Clayton Allison, son conjoint des 25 dernières années; son fils, Johnny Baldwin (Lisette Landry) d’Anse-Bleue; sa fille, Linda Baldwin de la Colombie-Britannique; sa belle-fille, Nathalie Cormier-Baldwin de Beresford; ses petits-enfants, Mitchell Baldwin (Diana Pinelle), Anthony Baldwin et Natacha Landry (Mathieu Brunet), tous du Québec; et Mathieu Landry de Notre-Dame-des-Érables. Jeanne laisse également dans le deuil ses arrière-petits-enfants : Florence et Vincent Baldwin, Jérémie Landry-Dinelle et Jacob Brunet-Landry, tous du Québec; sa sœur, Madeline Gagnon, d’Edmonton (Alberta); ainsi que de nombreux oncles, tantes, neveux, nièces et cousins.

Outre ses parents et son époux, Mme Baldwin est partie rejoindre au paradis son fils Mike Baldwin (décédé le 9 août dernier); ses sœurs : Melodia, Anita, Oedia et Patricia; et son frère, Léonce.

La famille recevra les condoléances à compter de 9h, le jeudi 27 août 2026 à la Coopérative Funéraire « La Colombe », au 322 rue Acadie à Grande-Anse. Une messe de funérailles chrétiennes sera célébrée à l’église Saint-Simon et Saint-Jude de Grande-Anse, le jeudi 27 août à 11h. L’inhumation aura lieu au cimetière paroissial après les funérailles.

Heures de visites : le jeudi 27 août, de 9h jusqu’au départ pour les funérailles.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Mrs. Baldwin has gone to Heaven to be with her son Mike Baldwin (who passed on August 9^th); her sisters : Melodia, Anita, Oedia and Patricia; and her brother, Leonce.

The family will receive condolences starting at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at the Coopérative Funéraire “La Colombe”, located at 322 rue Acadie in Grande-Anse. A Christian Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Saint-Simon et Saint-Jude Church in Grande-Anse on Thursday, August 27, at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place at the parish cemetery following the funeral.

Visitation hours: Thursday, August 27, from 9:00 a.m. until departure for the funeral.
