Entouré de sa famille au Foyer Assomption à Rogersville, le mardi 17 février 2026, est décédé à l’âge de 96 ans M. Gérald Richard. Il était l’époux d’Annoncia Richard (née Martin) et demeurait à Rogersville. Né le 15 juillet 1929, il était le fils de feu Hector Richard et de feu Marie Thébeau.

Outre son épouse, il laisse dans le deuil ses enfants : Anise (Arthur Doucette), Marc et Stéphane; une sœur, Yvonne Richard; cinq petits-enfants : Jessica, April, Mathieu, Patrick et Grace; ses quatre arrière-petits-enfants : Madison, Kayla, Austin et Brynn, ainsi que plusieurs arrière-arrière-petits-enfants, neveux, nièces, cousins, cousines et amis.

Il a été précédé dans la tombe par ses parents; trois sœurs : Eva, Irène et Lilianne, ainsi que son frère, Zoël.

La famille recevra parents et amis à compter de 11h, le lundi 23 février 2026 à la Coopérative Funéraire « La Colombe » au 11325, route 126 à Rogersville. Une célébration aura lieu à 15h au salon.

À la mémoire de M. Richard, un don au Foyer Assomption à Rogersville pour la chambre palliative serait apprécié.

Surrounded by his family at the Foyer Assomption in Rogersville, on Tuesday, February 17^th 2026, passed away peacefully, Gérald Richard, at the age of 96. He was the husband of Annoncia Richard (born Martin), formerly from Rogersville. Born on July 15^th, 1929, he was the son of the late Hector Richard and of the late Marie Thébeau.

Besides his wife, he leaves to mourn his children: Anise (Arthur Doucette), Marc and Stéphane; his sister, Yvonne Richard; his five grandchildren: Jessica, April, Mathieu, Patrick and Grace; as well four great-grandchildren: Madison, Kayla, Austin and Brynn, as well as many great-great grand children, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents; three sisters: Eva, Irène and Lilianne, as well as his brother: Zoël.

The family will receive relatives and friends beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 23^rd, 2026, at the La Colombe Funeral Home, 11325 Highway 126, in Rogersville. A celebration will follow at 3:00 pm at the funeral home.

Visitation hours: Monday, February 23^rd, 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.
