It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mary May Murty at The Chaleur Regional Hospital on Sunday July 28 at the age of 94, with her family by her side.

Born in Black Rock, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Marion Sisk.

She leaves to mourn her sons; Mike (Charline) and Leo (Claudine), her daughters; Ann (Laurent) and Gail.

She was predeceased by her husband Armand (Herman), her daughter Helen, her grandson Mark, her great grand- daughter Chloé and her brothers Frank and Herman.

She also leaves behind her sister Edna, her brother: Dan and Leo, 11 grand- children and 14 great grandchildren and also several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Caraquet Hospital, Manoir Brise de L’OASIS as well as the Chaleur Regional Hospital for their tremendous care and also a very special thank you to Carole (Sisk) Landry for the excellent care she provided to our mother.

Visitations will be held at the Cooperative Funeraire « La Colombe«  ltee in Grande Anse, beginning at 12:30 p.m. on Friday August 2, 2024. A Funeral mass is to follow at 2pm at the St-Simon and St-Jude church in Grande- Anse. Also there will be a gathering at the Pokeshaw and Black Rock recreation center after the funeral for family and friends.

The direction of the funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Cooperative funéraire « La Colombe`ltee.
